"Matildas Hotel Boutique is a little gem of a place, a former family home still managed by friendly family members. There is no elevator, but someone helped get heavy bags upstairs (with a dumb waiter?) I felt like a visitor in a stately private home rather than being in a hotel. I also felt safe and the staff provided me with excellent help to organize a wine tour and find good restaurants."

"Great place to stay for a few nights! The location is close to the metro station and also to some landmarks like Palacio La Moneda y Plaza de Armas. Staff was polite, breakfast included, cool backyard and Pool. There was a kitchennette very convenient and in general, a great experience. The only low point is that the zone is a little bit dangerous, mainly during the night. Always try to return before is dark. With day light by your side there is nothing to worry about."
