"Absolutely beautiful hotel. What I love the most is the private onsen in the room. It's in a semi-open space (not in the room, but under a roof kind of in the back balcony). The private onsen refills itself, and temperature regulated. It was amazing. Beautiful scenery, excellent staff, exceptional breakfast."

"Staff went far beyond what we expected. Every single person was always accommodating and helpful. The room was magnificent. In hindsight I think a regular tub would have been enough. The huge ceramic outside tub was beautiful, but being from California and drought conditions I felt guilty filling up the huge tub every night.
