"We spent Christmas in this beautiful home. Walked to the beach everyday. The home was cozy and had everything we needed to cook meals. One of the best aspects was its location - short drive to Seascape beach and day trips to Monterey, Pacific Grove and Carmel. Overall, fantastic!!"

"This was perfect for my wife and I (and our large dog). Loved the proximity to the beach while being quiet and out of any busy areas. Our only complaint, which is not so much a complaint than it is an FYI for future guests, is that the neighborhood had 0 street lights. We got into town after dark and it was a bit hard to find the house and get unpacked. If you think you'll be there after dark, bring a flashlight. "

"This is a great location, walking distance from Nisene Marks Park (redwoods) and the Aptos Village with nice market and restaurants. Beautiful Sea Cliff Beach is a longer walk, or 5 minute drive. The back deck looks over forest and feels secluded and there are lots of big windows looking out that direction too. The hosts live on the property, which turned out fine. They were very helpful when we had a few small requests. The front of the property is tighter than it appears in the listing photo....
