"We had a good time so close to the beach!It was a little windy, but worth it! The house having a large porch and a screened in porch was great!"

"We enjoyed our time together as a family. We enjoyed the convenience of the beach and the park right there at the house on the same street. We were thankful for the dollar store and the convenience of everything right near us and would love to stay there again it was the perfect size just for us. "Lots of relaxation and getting to know Surfside. Enjoy it more than Galveston as the people are friendly and always willing to help and provide assistance."

"We enjoyed our stay. The property was in a good location and a very quick drive to majority of attractions and restaurants. The pool was a huge hit with our kids! I would note that the home does not have any dressers, so somewhat inconvenient for a longer stay. "

"Two moms and three 11 year old girls, plus one very happy dog stayed 4 nights here and had a great time. Beach was an easy 5 to 6 block walk away. Neighbor was friendly. Home is nicely decorated and supplied well. Beds were comfortable. The place was clean. I would go back."

"Loved using this house for a girls weekend. Loved how big it is and that there were 5 bathrooms! Listing is a bit outdated as there is now a stock tank pool, but other than that it's BEAUTIFUL and in a very quiet, gated neighborhood away from the hustle of the main part of the island. We will be back! "

"Close to lots to do in Houston. Comfy beds, good water pressure. Adorably decorated. AC works great! Housekeeping needed some work. Has secure parking for two vehicles which is a plus in downtown! Kitchen had everything we needed except dishcloths strangely. Even had a bunch of board games that we did not get to utilize because we were there for work. Enjoyed our stay, thanks Fredrick!"

"We enjoyed our stay. It was a little far out of town (which we knew), but was very easy to get to and less traffic. There is a nice marina very close to the resort with great food and bars, so you don't have to go all the way back to town. The previous reviews about the musty smell in the lower level are accurate. I would say it was mild and for some of us, barely noticeable. This is also something I would expect out of a lower level near a beach. Definitely was not overpowering and did not...
