I found a cockroach in the room upon my arrival at midnight. That was very disappointing considering that it was a doubletree hilton. They offered to change the room. Rooms need renovation. Hotel is conveniently located.

View of the city was amazing. Room was big and spacious. Area was walking distance from galleria and close to lots of places to eat around Houston. Great variety around there. Nice atmosphere. Staff was nice and friendly. No free parking, must park in parking tower for nightly fee.
