"Not the best location if you are looking to tour Madrid by yourself. A bit off center from the main square, nothing around within walking distance for dining, or shopping. Overall a good property for a 1-2 night stay. Recommend renting a car here as to get to attractions with out a organized tour can be expensive. Uber is a cheaper option. "

"Wow , what a place ! Staff are fantastic and cannot do enough for you . We did room & breakfast only and it was perfect as Purto Calero just 5 minutes away was great for a day/night out too ! Drinks including cocktails were good prices too if you aren’t fully inclusive. Everything in this beautiful resort was perfect and we’re going next January for the whole month . Best holiday I’ve ever had ."

"I’ve stayed in Barcelona half a dozen times or more.. I’d say this is one of the best hotels.. certainly the best location. You are going to pay for the location, but the service was amazing .. rooftop bar , pool all Amazing . Free cava , plenty of seating , rooms were very comfortable. Good soundproofing"

"Stayed in January 2025. Hotel is close to the Metro and Sagrada Familia. Shops and restaurants nearby. Decent room size. Mini cooler, TV. Breakfast buffet with good selections at only 8 Euros. Room facing the street. Though it was winter, room was warm as AC not working in room 105. You have to open the window to let cool air in and the noise though not that bad Dumpsters are in front of the hotel but they don't smell. There's a small Japanese resto next to it. "

"I stay here once or twice a year without hesitation. Everyone I deal with from Moh the waiter to the housekeeping maids like Anita are so helpful and friendly. It's a great tribute to the hotel that the staff are so excellent and continue to work for Riu. A massive turnaround of guests and they do it seamlessly. Fantastic! "
