This property had mildew damage in the bathroom. The air conditioning is nonexistent. They changed my room when I couldn't sleep the first night. I ran into someone else in the hall who was having the same problem in their room. I understand in Europe they like to control the AC, but this one was set at 18 instead of 16 and it did not ever get to 18.

This was a great location, I can get to all my destinations easily. The room was not spacious but cozy. I did asked for a room with a view he put me on the third floor which only gave the view of the bodega in front of the hotel. FYI, that is not a view. Lastly, I tried the breakfast buffet for one day, thank God, and it was disgusting. The eggs tasted like chemicals and the sausages were hard and cold. Not tasty at all.

We had to ask for the VIP benefit of two welcome drinks, it wasn’t offered. Room upgrade wasn’t offered either. The welcome drinks were also very limited to house wine and one beer. They were good, but more choice would be great. The hotel and staff are great, but they are not offering the VIP perks unless specifically asked for.

The hotel is just a stone’s throw away from Metro L1 going to and from the airport, the airport bus, Plaza Espanya, the Montjuic Magic Fountain, and Arenas. However, it is beside a boarded up building flanking the Torres Venecianes, which makes it kinda sad. The Hotel itself is wonderful! Very modern and clean, with very accommodating and genial staff. Shout out to Renat who made us really welcome and oriented us about Barcelona, where to go, how to go to the places we want to see, and other useful information that made us feel so welcome.

Hotel indigo is close to the Arena mall, restaurants, mini marts and metro. Easy to get a taxi or catch bus. Easy walking distance to everything. Bed is comfortable. Lots of nice amenities: toiletries, bottled water, espresso machine, mini refrigerator, nice big TV. The room is small but the decor and comfy bed, amenities and quiet make up for it! Great hotel!

EXCELLENT!
I love this hotel! I was immediately struck by the friendliness of the staff and how amazing they are. The hotel is very clean and the beds are comfy. There is a DJ every Friday night. I liked how we could separate the beds if we wanted. All that aside, let's talk about the staff some more. They made our stay so much better than any other hotel of this trip. I'd stay here anytime I come back to Barcelona.

At check-in, the Indigo Barcelona didn’t offer the Hotels.com VIP extras promised at the time of booking. The room was so cramped it was difficult to manoeuvre around the bed. Bedside lamp was hanging broken off the wall. Check-out was painfully slow. I had to wait 20 mins. Why so inefficient? This is something that happens hundreds of times a day, it’s not like the hotel haven’t had the opportunity to practice over the years! Overall I felt The Indigo was overpriced, and based on my experience I would neither recommend, nor return anytime soon.
