"The character of the property is old world and unique. Most of the staff servicing at breakfast were lovely but one of the young girls at breakfast did not want to be there and was very unhappy looking. She had long pig tails and was not unpleasant but certainly not a good ambassador for the hotel. "

"Spacious studio with everything you need. Convenient location although it can get quite noisy at night. Reasonably priced and I would definitely consider staying here again. My only comment is that their check-in/out times are quite inflexible due to being booked out on most days, so plan ahead."

"This hotel has a very high end feel about it. Attentive staff and door attendants. Our room was nice and quiet and it was serviced daily by the time we returned to our room. A note though - the minibar fridge was small in our room and full of hotel products for sale. We needed to empty the minibar partially to find room in the fridge for our drinks. "

"Was very impressed with this hotel- particularly as it’s currently in a lower price point. The deal with Wilson’s parking is very convenient and a great deal. The only comment I’d make, which is minor, is that the pillows are a little flat and the doona cover is very thin. However you can adjust your own heating and cooling in the room. Another suggestion is to request a room away from the lift as you can very clearly hear people in the hallway coming and going. Oh, and bring your own make...

"Great property. We normally stay further down Collins Street but due to the F1 we’re unable to stay in our usual hotel. We were pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff, the great food and the comfortable rooms. Also, it was much quieter meaning we had a restful stay. We will certainly be returning to Sheraton Melbourne. LOVED IT!"
