"This is by far the best stay we have ever had as a couple visiting the Lake District very frequently. The house is absolutely beautiful and the owners Susan and Glenn were the most wonderful hosts. The rooms are absolutely stunning and the quality of the breakfast is 5 star. "

The bed was comfortably firm. For those traveling by car, the ample parking in an enclosed courtyard is a rare bonus. Breakfast selections are prepared with care. Overall, the property and management deserve a five-star rating."
