Cheap and cheerful and did the trick
Cheap and cheerful and very central, easy to find and check in. Our room looked out onto rooftop air con units of Wetherspoons directly opposite and their smoking terrace below so bit smelly and noisy. Ear. Buds provided by the hotel so not a major issue if you use them. No breakfast available but plenty of lovely cafes and bars so easy to sort. Checking in easy and friendly staff

Lovely comfy beds, tea and coffee making facilities in room. Thoughtful addition of ear plugs was appreciated at this city centre location on a Saturday night so sleep wasn’t disturbed 😜

The Go2 Hotel is conveniently placed in the heart of Lancaster, a few minutes' walk from the railway station, bus stops, shops and eateries. The facilities are basic, no-frills but clean and well-presented with personable reception staff. So, overall good value. Only two negatives: 1) The room was not well sound-proofed against street noise, even with the window closed. The hotel provided individually-packaged ear plugs, which adequately dealt with this. 2) The WiFi was extremely patchy.
