"It is a truly 5 star hotel - great room, amenities, and service. I tried all onsen facilities - the private one on our balcony, and two public ones with stunning views. Both kaiseki dinner and buffet breakfast were great. Cold drinks, coffee and ice cream were all free in the lobby. The only small issue was to the transportation. There are a couple of buses if you can do that, but getting a taxi out of the hotel was not easy. Luckily we had Go taxi app. It is 15 min walk from the open air...

"This hotel was the highlight of the 4 hotels that we stayed in during our two week visit. We had a very large room (double twin) that allowed us to open up our suitcases. Room was clean, smelled fresh, had a beautiful view of the stream and maple trees changing colors.
