The only slight oversight was when the housekeeper missed out on a few minor details such as not taking away dirty cups & used glasses, not replacing the same number of towels. Otherwise, it was a perfect stay."

"A true traditional ryokan experience. The feel and service of all the amentities was superb. We were worried about the food as it was very unique. However all of it exceeded expectations. All the food was worth trying and had such an earthy feel to it. The service of the staff members were impeccable. Very kind and helpful. The place is little far to get to. So recommend calling ahead for shuttle service from the ryokan. Highly recommended."

"This was our stay in the Tokyo - Kyoto route and I must say that that night was the rest that I need. This hotel is awesome and a totally battery charger. I stay for 1 night and enjoy all the free activities. For the ones like me that got tattoos there are private onsen baths that you can use and are really worth it. "
