"This hotel was on special offer for members so we thought we would treat ourselves. It was £135 per night without breakfast. It was a lovely room but the bath wouldn't keep the water in it. For the price I didn't think it was outstanding. The larger rooms were so expensive but I cannot comment as to whether they are worth it :) "

"Overall this was a good stay. Upon arrival the lady on the desk was really friendly and got me checked in. I was on the 19th floor. Room was clean. Didn't have any noise disturbance overnight. The bed was comfortable. The bath was a bit slippy when I used the shower. The ventilation system seems to always make a noise even if it's meant to be off. The green light from the gas monitor wasn't great as it reflected through the glass bedside table. "

"We arrived late due to our trains and our room was over looking the main road so very noisy. I asked to move rooms which they did and this room opened onto the car park with only one small window. As we were staying 3 nights the hotel very kindly moved us to a larger room in the main building the next day which was much more comfortable. Staff were very helpful and breakfast was good "

"Parsonage Hotel is a lovely old building in the outskirts of York. Its pool and spa facilities are excellent. Perfect for a relaxing evening after exploring beautiful York. "
