The room was not very clean, there were marks in the bathroom, on the walls and the sheets were dirty.

Couldn’t initially find my booking when checking in. Room (113) was really poor..overlooking recycling bins and a brick wall, and felt dingy.
Items missing at breakfast (no toast) and quality of sausage poor.
On a positive the bed was comfy and the hotel is a 10 minute walk from the station.
Fantastic clean hotel and staff were great. The lifts let it down a bit as it took ages for 1 lift to arrive and when it did it seemed to have a mind if it's own stopping on floors where no one was.
We had executive room and was super..very comfy
Good location 10 mins walk from station & shops/bars & restaurants
Good food & choice of drinks, room clean & tidy.
Only 1 lift working on check in but fixed a few hours later.
Another enjoyable stay in Leeds.
Hotel is located close to everything I needed, lots of good food and bars nearby. Only complaint is the bed was too soft for my liking, but thats

Check in was horrendous. We arrived at15:00 only to be met with a queue out of reception and out of the front doors of the hotel .
Not enough staff to support the check in process.
Very disappointing…
This is a large And clean business hotel with an impressive lobby and friendly staff. There’s nothing very personal about it but it all looks pretty professional.
However – there are major Problems: the rooms are quite small and a bit rundown – my wall had quite a few scuff marks on it. The heating system was just dreadful – very noisy and actually quite ineffective. I woke up quite cold in the Morning. The shower was not very powerful at all – better than a dribble but not a lot.
Worse of all during my stay the fire alarm in the hotel went off twice through the night which woke everybody up obviously. I understand these things happen but on departure, the receptionist didn’t acknowledge it or ask how my day was and I got the impression that they just wanted all the customers out before anybody complained.
At £160, this is very far short of competitor hotels in Leeds and I wouldn’t recommend using it : I stayed at the Ibis and the Travelodge, and both of them are better than this
We stayed the weekend for my birthday. Nice quiet room, room 906. Didn't hear any noise.
Upgraded to a King size bed and the facilities were good. I was annoyed to see that the room was also available for the same price to include breakfast via Groupon!
On the Saturday night, we had ordered a takeaway from FoodHub and I went down to reception to ask them to ring my room when the food had been delivered. I gave the male receptionist my room number and he wrote it down and said he would do so.
A lot of time had gone past and I rang the takeaway to see where my order was and they informed me that the food was dropped off 20 minutes ago. So I went downstairs and saw my food sat on the counter. I asked the receptionist why didn't he ring me and he claims he rang our room twice and we never answered.
I'm sorry but he NEVER rang. I even picked up the phone in our room to make sure that there was a dial tone. I'm not sure what room number he rang, but it was definitely not mine.
The food was cold by the time I went to investigate as it had been at this point, over 30 minutes had passed and I was really annoyed with the receptionist's attitude. He kept saying that he had rang our room twice.
It never ever rang.
I think the hotel needs to check their phone lines if this is the case but I conclude that he did not ring the correct room number.
This whole episode almost ruined my birthday weekend as all we wanted was a lovely night in.
Thanks so much to Frankie and Levi for all your help with my Mum. Really appreciate it. They both went out of their way to help.
We went to Ciao Bella Italian which was very convenient (2 minutes walk around the corner from the hotel).

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
We stay here at Leonardos each year for a meeting and overall are pleased to stay. Cleanliness and Friendly Staff make this a positive experience. A little niggle, they always run out of products at the bar every time without fail. Good check-in and out. Would recommend.
Lovely stay-reception staff very welcoming. Convenient for shopping. Breakfast was excellent for choice. We received complimentary vouchers for drinks and the room was nicely decorated with nice view of the city. Our only recommendation was the heating and water may be requiring some updating as the air con was a little noisy compared to some places I’ve stayed and you could hair noises from the plumbing. The bed was extremely small so next time I would choose an upgraded room as I didn’t think those size doubles were on the go anymore
Nice central location overlooking the canal on one side, clean hotel with lovely reception area's, breakfast was delicious with an excellent assortment of food and drinks, staff were all helpful and friendly.
