"Moved to the Lakes hotel 5 star due to beach hill work carried out the Lakes was very nice 5 star hotel excellent the only thing makes it a 4 star on my option is no tissue box in bedroom of tips teabags instead of twinnings English breakfast tea not available and breakfast help your self not served to to like a 5 star hotel would to mse fresh to order this was made like a 4 star hotel."

"This hotel is perfect. Perfect location. A few minutes walk into the town. The spa/pool/jacuzzi area is excellent and very relaxing. Close to all the restaurants and pubs but far enough out so it is quiet. The only niggle was you could feel the springs in the bed. However if you are only staying a few nights then it isn’t a massive issue. Just a shame as the bed looks amazing. It hasn’t stopped me from already looking to come back here. Highly recommend. 5*"

"Didn’t like the fact that dogs are allowed to stay in a 4* hotel especially when they’re wet the smell was awful. If I had known this I would not have booked it. Also not happy that the hotel tried to charge me again for evening dinner when I had already paid ! The staff could be a bit more cheery. "

"Highly functional room with everything perfectly placed and all the amenities you would ever want to make for a comfortable and pleasant stay. "The Hotel is a wonderfully panoramic location overlooking the lake. It’s a great location in a grand historic building. I am not a fan that charges for parking. Just add it into the rate! You can only check in at 4pm (although we managed at 3.30pm). I have traveled all this planet and this is the latest l have experienced in 35 years.
