This us the 3rd time we have stayed. We are usually in an appartment in the hall itself and have always had a fantastic time. I was abit disappointed that we weren't staying in the hall this time but as it turned out we still had the best time. We stayed in a 2 bedroom appartment and it was massive. Beautiful inside and modern. It was more peaceful than the hall. The appartment was spotless, the cleaners do such a good job. The grounds are well kept. You feel very safe. The staff helpful and friendly. Lovely clean leisure centre/pool. Cant wait to come back next year whether its in the hall or not.

We (me and 3 kids) had a wonderful stay and are looking at returning. Great value for money. The pool was a highlight and we used it daily. We were also allowed to use the pool on our day of departure after checking out. Take your own towels to avoid £££ for renting them.

Accidental delight! Comfy beds, spotless room, and a stay in an ancient castle-like historic compound. This place is maintained lovingly by a local association. It has multiple buildings on beautiful grounds, and is a suitable venue for any special event. We were simply looking for a place to land before our narrowboat adventure. What we got was a deep dive into history, staying at a home that once belonged to Lady Jane Grey. The staff was fantastic. We arrived too early for check in, yet the management was so kind, were offered an upgrade for our convenience. What a delightful piece of history we stumbled upon! Highly recommended!

What a beautiful place. We were unfortunately in a car accident during our holiday but the staff at Thurnham hall were all amazing. They offered to help us with our bags when we checked out and all the staff made us feel very special. I would highly recommend a stay here.

The Hotel and grounds were absolutely amazing the pool and Jacuzzi were lovely and so clean. The Hotel food and drinks were brilliant a very good choice the outside studios were lovely just needed a little bit more on room service. But the Hotel and staff were very good the History of the Hall and its building was wonderful. Well worth staying and would definitely visit again

From start to finish an excellent and peaceful stay. The apartments are like mini cottages. Own lovely kitchen, living room, bedroom with the comfiest bed ive ever slept in and i love premier inn beds! Clean, friendly reception, leisure centre and kids park on site, small 'shop' in hall sells immediate groceries and what you need. Note though nothing for babies :-(. Duck pond and all ducks roam free round grounds. We had ground apartment and they all came waddling over to us when we opened the door. Squirrels roaming. Peaceful, old church building, set back in the middle of country but with bus stop access just down road takes you to town for £2! I really have no complaints and cant wait to come back with my husband for a few days in summer.

The property was beautiful, the history was so atmospheric, was like stepping back into to a different time, the staff are incredible! A special shoutout to Lucy, Jack and Georgina who went the extra mile and recognised my partners birthday and our interest in history. Simply one of the best places we’ve stayed! Lovely stay, apartment needed some TLC
Our third stay at Thurnham Hall and the spa, pool and restaurant were very good as always and the staff all friendly and professional. The apartment itself was a little worn. Sofas were frayed on the arms and the sofa-bed had a poor and uncomfortable mattress. Whilst our apartment did not guarantee an outside area, it was disappointing that we had one which was out of bounds awaiting repairs. The other facilities were good.

First visit, surrounded by beautiful countryside, charming old building. Our apartment was lovely it had everything we needed. Quiet location to relax. Tried some food in the restaurant, this was good. Service excellent.

We stayed in a suite with 2 bedrooms a living room and a kitchen, it was ideal for us and the two children. Beautiful surroundings, the pool was brilliant, the changing rooms are open as in no separate cubicles, but we were allowed to change in the disabled rooms which was appreciated. The staff are friendly and polite, plenty to do in the area, we had a great time would definetely go back and highly recommend.
