"I have been waiting to stay here since I saw this resort the first time on the lagoon in 2021. I stayed at the over water cabana which offered beautiful lagoon view, unit 6 and 7 are newer units with glass patio doors. The cabanas are eco friendly therefore no AC but they provided 3 fans, the room is not completely sealed so some openings are covered with mesh to prevent bugs. "Serene, beautiful property with a great lagoon view. Super easy parking and secure entrance. We stayed in two room types and thought both were excellent (lagoon view suite, and partial lagoon view room). The overall vibe was nice with chill electronic music playing and waiters roaming to make sure you had all you needed, the food an drinks were excellent (ate multiple meals during our stay). Only critique would be that the lounge chairs facing the lagoon are limited in number, and other guests...

"The hotel was lovely very quiet and relaxing with a great access to the lagoon. Breakfast was very good and lunch/dinner menu was just ok, nothing too exciting so who mostly went in town for dinners. The hotel located beast the city center with lots of restaurants options. Rooms were comfy but sheets need to be replaced as seems quite old and used. "

"Beautiful pool and gardens, gorgeous rooms with stunning white wash floors and concrete glaze flooring. Lovely room decor. Netflix. Extra bed in room for our family of 5 (2 adults & 3 children under 10). Also, amazing location to walk into town too! 5 minutes from the main plaza. it is next to a fabulous breakfast place (2 mins walk) - Ixchel Bacalar Downside - Coffee machine in room but no pods and poor WiFi connectivity.
