"Boa Boa was our favourite stay this vacation. All of the staff were so welcoming and helpful. The property is beautiful and all of the rooms were wonderful. We had the best sleep in the king sized beds! Having access to the water and some free kayaks really added such a bonus to our trip. I highly suggest getting up early to watch the sunrise and do a little paddle. There was lots of street parking for our car and the neighbourhood was very quiet. "Beautiful pool and gardens, gorgeous rooms with stunning white wash floors and concrete glaze flooring. Lovely room decor. Netflix. Extra bed in room for our family of 5 (2 adults & 3 children under 10). Also, amazing location to walk into town too! 5 minutes from the main plaza. it is next to a fabulous breakfast place (2 mins walk) - Ixchel Bacalar Downside - Coffee machine in room but no pods and poor WiFi connectivity. "

"I did not like the surrounding area where it is located. Not pleasant area to walk. A mechanic shop with old cars on the street. Trash, no green area at all. The fascility is nice but the neighborhood not. "
