"It was a very cozy. I stayed for 4 nights and really enjoyed my stay. Complimentary breakfast buffet every morning and really friendly staff. Has a washer dryer at the hotel and is right across the street from a couple grocery stores."

"Second time staying here and it was just as great as the first time. Even better as we had chosen a larger room, the last time it was quite difficult to manoeuvre a small room with two suitcases but we managed which is the norm with most midrange hotels in Japan. Recommend for the value and location, subway is a five minute walk down the road which is handy."

"Absolutely loved this hotel! Great location, really nice atmosphere and decoration, comfortable and spacious. Highly recommend to anyone staying in Kyoto. Only drawback I'd say was there was a sign of the shop below over our window so we had barely any visibility and ended up not using our window at all because of this. So recommend avoiding staying on a lower floor if possible."
