"We stayed here because of proximity to airport. Property looks in need of sprucing up both inside and out. It looks as if they are doing some work on the front of the hotel so we had to go in the back entrance. In the lobby, smelled strong smoke odor but that was probably because the back entrance was also where they designated smokers to go and smoke. "The staff was very helpful and nice! Oley(sp?) was always willing to give us tourist type pointers and hints. The breakfast was great! There was someone there monitoring the food to make sure it was fresh. It was a typical European breakfast with a waffle maker. 😊 The Hot tub is the same sulfur water that all the spas charge you for. And my husband loved the sauna. The Viking theme was extra fun. "

"Awesome stay for our family of four. We had a 2-room suite that had two twins in each room. Although we prefer a king bed for ourselves, the twins were perfect for the kids. "It was what was expected of a hostel type room. The property was a bit outdated and rooms were a bit stuffy temperature wise, but staff did try to make our stay comfortable. Washer and dryer machines were iffy, but the detergent was included at least. We came during the winter, during their off peak season, and they were in the middle of renovations, so I cant fault them for that. Overall it met our needs."

"this guesthouse is in a convenient and good location for the airport with an airport shuttle also! lovely man who took us to the airport. the facilities such as shower and kitchen were good. beds where comfy and rooms big enough. the only downfall was the leather headboards were coming apart and the pillows and bed become covered in leather from this which is uncomfortable and itchy. "This was a very nice hotel, we stayed here for our first night in Iceland. The reception was very helpful and nice, making check in easy. The rooms were very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The only issue we had was the shower water temperature being wayyy too hot as the gauge seemed broken beforehand. We waited to see if the water would cool down after some time and it did not. The faucet ran very hot after that as well. "
