"We were upgraded to one of the cottages by chance. It was cold in the room and overall it was ok. We had stayed also in the main hotel portion on our return to Reykjavik and enjoyed staying in the mail hotel more. Breakfast was typical for Icelandic hotels....but good. The room cost was reasonable, but you are located outside of the main area. This was ok for us since we were renting a car."

"Excellent location if you have a car. Not good if need public transportation. Bus service is bad on weekends especially Sunday. We waited 40 minutes for a bus on Sunday. We had to use taxis which were quite expensive. "

"Phillip at the front desk was super nice. Breakfast was fantastic every morning and Sonia was always helpful. Showers were clean and laundry room was always stocked. "

"The hotel room was fine if a little small for four people. The spa facilities are wonderful but they need to stay open later. The breakfast is excellent (though expensive - standard for Rekjavik) the dinner was quite poor which was disappointing. The location is odd - it’s a little out of the centre and needs a bus to get to the centre. These are easy to use but would have been better if we were in the centre. "
