"We stayed in the Kilauea condo, which is surrounded by tropical rain forest. Very romantic. Carlos prepared a nice breakfast for the two days that we stayed. We were blessed to be there one night when Kilauea erupted. The manager texted us and we were among the first people there. Amazing experience. The only negative is that the wifi is limited so download anything you want to watch before you come or enjoy the view and read a book"

"Gorgeous property, quiet and serene, loved sleeping to the rain. It is clear this place was a labor of love to build and is well maintained. The volcanoes national park was 5 mins away and so convenient. The little “town” of Volcano had good restaurants and art center. Would love to come back!"

"The property has two sides to it. We booked a two bedroom and ended up in the side with the one bedroom. The other side was the two bedroom part of the property (and the view in the photo). The property was very nice overall and typically very quiet with the sounds of nature being the only ones you heard so it was a good overall stay."

"It was beautiful. At night there is no one around but all the little noises make you feel like you're in an enchanted forest Perfect for 1 or 2 adults. It is an artistic setting with a store and a little cafe ! It was excellent!"

"This cabin is one of the most special places I have ever stayed in. Barry and Jim, the owners, take immaculate care of it. They stock it with breakfast foods (eggs, milk, coffee, fresh fruits, cereal, oatmeal, bread etc) for quick starts to the day. We loved coming back to the cabin after a long day in the National Park. "We loved that we were away feom the city and in the country. We absolutely loved the yard, garden, fresh eggs. This place is cozy and had everything we needed to stay 9 days. I would definitely stay here again. "

"Very clean, has everything you need to stay for a week. Large space, big enough for 6 people. Nice location, close to Volcano NP. Water pressure is a bit lacking."
