"Very very conveniently located! It's about ten minutes from Volcanoes National Park, and not too far from other areas of interest as well. We visited from Kona so the difference in climate was extremely refreshing. Love the consideration placed in the small things too, like heated blankets and individual space heaters. It does get a little chilly in the evening at that altitude but I love the cooler nights. Thanks for the opportunity to stay!"

"We loved this location, so near the national park as well as restaurants in Volcano. The atmosphere around the house was also amazing. So many plants that we never see on the mainland where we live. We did have one small problem which was attended to right away. I both recommend this and would come here again if I ever travel to Hawai'i again."

"Location is perfect for visiting Volcano National Park - just 5 minutes away by car and even less to the small village of Volcano. House setting is just as the picture appears. Open living room, dining and kitchen with a gas fireplace was where we gathered. If the weather had been better (we had quite a bit of rain), I'm sure we would have made use of wrap around open porch with gas grill. Working with Matt was extremely easy and he even provided short how-to videos for operating appliances....

"The house is well priced, in a quiet neighborhood, and close to Volcano National Park. The property manager was helpful and responsive to an early check-in when our flight came in. I do think that attention to detail with cleaning needs to be a priority as there were dirty mugs in the cabinets, a "clean" wash cloth hanging in the bathroom that had what I assume was a blood stain on it, and stains on the fabric of the dining room chairs from food and beverage."
