"We enjoyed staying at Dragonfly Farm. Hostess was very welcoming! Beautiful avocado farm with chickens & goats & cat! We loved the attached backyard deck for morning & night hangout, beautiful views! And florally fragrant air was unbelievable. Kitchen is well equipped for meal making. It’s a 1 bedroom as bunk beds are in main room. King bed was very comfortable! Host and hostess share beach chairs, masks, towels are convenience- perfect! Many beautiful and less busy beaches not far away. Loved the location away from Kona-busy. "

"This place is amazing. One minute drive to Black sand beach and very quiet and felt like our own place. Nice pool/hot tub area and the room was beyond what we expected. Friendly/ courteous staff that knew the area well. highly recommended!!"

"The property is a cute cottage that reminds you of your Grandma’s house. It was a great price and close to the beach and Volcano park isn’t too far so it was Perfect for me. The host is very friendly and met me at the cottage when I arrived. "

"Here you will find a home surrounded by a beautiful garden with a very large covered deck overlooking the ocean to the west. Stunning sunrises, warm breezes, and a canopy of stars and the Milky Way at night uninhibited by city lights. The home is as described, but more. Comfortable, welcoming and everything you would need. You experience a bit of the homeowners love of this island in the decor and gardens. For us, the location was ideal - away from the popular beaches, tourist shops, etc. Here you are close to The Volcanic National Park and many “gem” locations listed in travel guides. This is Kau coffee country (look up the history of the emergence of Kau coffee and Kona coffee). We enjoyed farm/fruit stands, local markets, and wonderful local places to eat and find local artist creations. The aloha spirit was so welcoming as we talked with locals. Hilo and the other side of the island is easily accessible. Go, see, experience... Hawaii, e noho mau ana oe iloko o ko'u naau a me na moeuhane. A hui hou kakou. "This was a lovely place to stay near Volcano, HI. Great location near the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and the town of Volcano which had some good restaurants. It was clean and was stocked with everything we needed for the time we were there."
