"Great location. We got there at dusk - tropical pathway lights didn't work - most were smashed. Hot tub was not "locked up" as supposed to be - and cloudy. Did not want to chance a UTI so - no tubbing which was the whole reason we picked this little gem. Sink clogged up, wallpaper paper falling off, possible black mold on skylight above bed. No batteries in remote. We left a day early. I hope they fix it up."

"We loved our stay at the yurt. The host was very responsive and helpful. We did get a lot of wind and rain but that’s Hawaii for you. The yurts had everything we needed. The village had a grocery store and one of the best coffee shops in the area. It is rural so expect rooster calls and dogs barking. "

"Very friendly hosts and a neighborhood rooster! The place was extremely clean, and pretty convenient to Volcanos National Park. Eating-out options in Volcano town were extremely limited, so maybe consider going into Hilo (about 25 mins)... not the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in but definitely not the worst either. Very quiet."

"Having never stayed in a Yurt of grid i was Amazed at how nice it was. I followed the rule of laundry during the day and had no issues. I titled this country because of the chickens and dogs, if you want a quite nights rest this isn't for you. If you are used to dogs barking and roasters crowingfrom 3am on then you'll be fine. "Expectations were met. The property was wonderful, exactly as stated on the site. Owners are responsive and the place was immaculate. We were extremely pleased to find fresh coffee beans and a grinder along with fresh eggs from their chickens. We stayed only one night but I would recommend two nights to fully enjoy your stay."
