"Beautiful location close to Tanukikoji in the Susukino area. Staff are professional and helpful; staff also understand/communicate in English. To no fault of the staff, the rooms have an odd smell. This is most likely from the long history of the hotel. Usual wear-and-tear. The rooms are one of the most spacious I've been in while visiting Japan. "

Walkable to Nijo Market, Tanukikoji Shopping Street, TV Tower, Sapporo Government Building etc. Lots of choices for restaurants. Close to shopping. We made a trip to Hakodate for 2 days, the hotel held our big luggage for free. We are very pleased with the service and highly recommend the hotel."
