"Nice hotel close to central city centre. The onsen overlooking the city was great. Room was quite small but comfy enough for our one night stay."

It was really nice to hang out and have a glass of wine to wind down after venturing around and exploring. I also received a free drink ticket. The drinks were limited but I still appreciated getting this "VIP" experience. I loved the vibes of the hotel and my room was very nice. "

"We had a great stay at the Cozy Inn, Otaru. Building is very well laid out, and rooms were fairly sizeable, new and clean. There isn't much of a common area, or kitchen etc but that's fine as there is lots in the area. Staff was super friendly and helpful, it's one of those properties we wish we would have stayed longer."

"Nice hostel in Otaru! Owners are friendly and willing to help out any questions you may have. No kerosene heaters required although there was a small one in my room that I used for a nightstand, not sure why it was there because there was also a wall mounted modern Hitachi ac/heater unit that was quiet and worked perfectly. This was my first hostel stay so the only thing I needed was a larger bath towel that was easily purchased a short walk away. Will be back!"

"This was the best hotel experience in our Hokkaido trip! Service was top-notched and the staff was treated you with genuine care, give us home feelings and very patient even if we can’t speak Japanese. Food was freshly and delicious prepared in course for both dinner and breakfast. Private onsen is well-maintained. Definitely will stay again! "

"They have lovely/kindly kids. They guided me so nice. Of course there are little noise(Kids, steps) but I felt not that too much. It made me feels like real stay in Japan."
