"Well located hotel right in front of the Otaru train station. Service is best in class. Onsen offers variety of choices including outdoors and indoors. 9 to 11 pm offers free ramen and ice cream. In the morning it offers free yogurt drink and welcome snacks. Little things add up to an unforgettable experience. My wife and daughter enjoy the stay very much. "PROS: - Spacious room. - They provide all the amenities. - I do appreciate the toilet and shower bring separate. - Exterior lights make it convenient to find from the street:) This was a huge plus for someone who isn't familiar with the area. Once I got to the main street and saw the exterior lights, it made finding my way back to the hotel super helpful. - Customer service is great. - They're willing to hold your luggage as you explore the area. - It is about an 8 min. walk to Otaru...

"This was the best hotel experience in our Hokkaido trip! Service was top-notched and the staff was treated you with genuine care, give us home feelings and very patient even if we can’t speak Japanese. "Nice hostel in Otaru! Owners are friendly and willing to help out any questions you may have. No kerosene heaters required although there was a small one in my room that I used for a nightstand, not sure why it was there because there was also a wall mounted modern Hitachi ac/heater unit that was quiet and worked perfectly. This was my first hostel stay so the only thing I needed was a larger bath towel that was easily purchased a short walk away. Will be back!"
