"Beautiful venue, kind and attentive staff that are very welcoming and friendly. Easy to reserve the private onsen and very good amenities. The food was delicious but if you are a traveler with food allergies i would recommend confirming with the staff before and during your stay. They will accommodate your needs, however, we had to remind the staff of my partners food allergies a few times as the menu did not initially follow the food restrictions. "A true traditional ryokan experience. The feel and service of all the amentities was superb. We were worried about the food as it was very unique. However all of it exceeded expectations. All the food was worth trying and had such an earthy feel to it. The service of the staff members were impeccable. Very kind and helpful. The place is little far to get to. So recommend calling ahead for shuttle service from the ryokan. Highly recommended."

"The town is lovely and the hotel is the perfect place to stay for an overnight trip, or even the weekend! Staff are incredibly helpful, kind and friendly, they offer free toiletries, even pyjamas to borrow if you forgot yours. Breakfast had a nice variety and there is water, tea and coffee available 24/7. The cleanliness was impeccable, as well as the service! One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at for the price ."

"This hotel has a small hot springs bath. Because it's small you need to follow rules but rules in English are posted everywhere. Washing machine with detergent is free. Dryer is only 100 yen for 20 min. Very nice little town "
