"My wife and I had an incredible experience and the staff were superb. They had supported us upgrading our room and even provided an adorable little gift for our honeymoon. The suite along with the amenities were incredibly clean, serene and provided the level of tranquility we were hoping to find. The price matched what we were looking for and, having a private bath for ourselves was ideal. While the facility was busy, I found that we had ample space of our own. "Comfort hotel is always the best no frill hotel available to when visit Japan. It doesn’t have a lot of bell and whistle like other hotel, but it always have reasonable size room and hearty and healthy breakfast to keep you going when travelling around Japan."

"Good budget hotel 2 minutes from the station and about 20 mins from Hikone Castle. Room facilities were fine but no coffee? Lost a star for that ."

We love the private onsen and yukata as well The staff here were super helpful and wanted us to have a nice stay. Most of them can help in basic English, but there were a few who you have to take out the translator for which was not a big issue"

"the location was in a really quiet beautiful area near beautiful temples, it’s a nice walk, and the staff were nice and accommodating. loved that dinner and breakfast was also included, although some rooms had communal washrooms which is not good. to go the hotel is also a hike up, and latest check in is before 8 pm. we had a leaking faucet, and the rooms are really cold at night, but they do provide heaters and warm clothes."
