"Lovely relaxing stay. We booked the Hanare Karoi luxury twin with its own private open air onsen. It was much needed after all the walking so far this trip, we didn't need to go to the larger public baths on the other levels. They provided a shuttle bus from Ogoto Onsen station. The service was great from check in, to the staff at the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. The private lounge and unlimited Haagen Dazs icecream, drinks and juices was a really nice touch. We really enjoyed the dinner...

"In Japan for a month. This was by far the best place I stayed. Staff was amazing. Food is great. Rooms are clean and spacious. And the onsen is relaxing and peaceful. "We drove to the ryokan from Nagoya Centrair and had no problems finding it. Parking was free and it was conveniently located right next to the ropeway (which was great!). Food was delicious and the onsen was great too. The only negative feedback I have is that certain parts of the room was dusty and perhaps the room needs to be cleaned more. Otherwise, it was an very pleasant overall stay."

The Ryokan only has few rooms So that they could serve the guests with the best quality! The hot spring is not as big as expect but still with very good quality. "Flat is a lot bigger than expected. It has everything we need including a combo cooker (steamer/microwave/grill/oven) to warm things up. It is very convenient - walking distance to town/castle. We are aware that the flat is above an izakaya but did not expect to listen to karaoke till midnight. It was bearable but may not be for everyone. "
