"If you are looking for a remote lake get away in northern Otsu this is ideal. This location suits the out door adventure types who want to be away from Otsu city. The lake was an amazing place to swim. What also would be a Great Lake side party atmosphere and relaxation with a group of friends. Amazing cleanliness despite the overall facility being quite old. "Flat is a lot bigger than expected. It has everything we need including a combo cooker (steamer/microwave/grill/oven) to warm things up. It is very convenient - walking distance to town/castle. We are aware that the flat is above an izakaya but did not expect to listen to karaoke till midnight. It was bearable but may not be for everyone. "
