Quick and easy check in and staff friendly. Bed and pillows extremely comfortable. Breakfast busy with slight waiting time for a table but nothing unreasonable. Adequate choice of breakfast items and all good. Ideal place to stay if you don’t want anything with all the frills. Would use again"

"A very nice stay. Staff were very pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. The room was a little small. However, it is a city hotel and everything you need was in the room. The breakfast was great. All fresh and lovely laid out. The staff were very efficient and helpful. We never ate any other meals at the hotel but others said it was nice. It is right in the centre but I heard no noise at all. Very convenient for the shops and the railway stations."

"It must be remembered that this is a budget hotel and there are no frills. But it was only £42 for the night for two of us plus an extra £8.50 each for a very good continental breakfast which included baked beans, cold meat and cheese as well as fresh fr, yoghurt and cereal plus various pastries. The room very basic with only a few coat hangers for clothing and no tea or coffee but had a tv and the single beds were very comfortable. Not the sort of place to stay more than overnight as no...
