"I was In the old part and it needs updating badly. Excited when I saw a spa bath in my room but bath was worn around the plug area and not appealing so wasted. Toilet was stained with brown as old. Taps on sink worn and spun round a lot before water came out. "

"The hotel is beautiful with a lot of charm and character and our room was lovely. The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. The cooked breakfast was poor and could easily be improved. The eggs benedict and the veggie breakfast were both quite tasteless. The selection of pastries and cereals etc were good though. I'm sure last time we stayed here the cooked breakfast was better. Strangly the curtains covered the radiator and so blocked some of the heat but the room was still warm....

"Wonderful warm welcome upon arrival. Fabulous staff. Food was excellent. Bar/restaurant area is beautiful. Our room was spacious, clean, modern with a very comfortable large bed. We’ll definitely stay again."
