"very friendly and pleasant staff. Nice little hotel for a one night stop. Unfortunately breakfast is not provided and the Cafe in the village/town I was told I could use has closed down. breakfast was a cold sandwich from Tesco. Not the best start to the day. "

"Good place for the price. It's unstaffed so you'll have to make a phone call to pay for your room and get the code for the self-service locks. Only facilities I found lacking was the fact that there wasn't a single mirror and I had to buy my own."

"What a find. I will be back. I loved this pub and rooms. Beautifully presented and decorated. Food for dinner and breakfast was great. I loved all the candles and furnishings and the fire lit on a slightly chilly morning at breakfast was lovely. I’d definitely recommend the bell inn. Parking is on the streets near by so as long as mindful of residents it really isn’t an issue. It a very quiet village "
