"This hotel was a great find for our trip. The staff was very welcoming upon our arrival and could not have been any nicer. Location is a very simple walk from the train station. The room was a comfortable place to relax. Breakfast was one of the best that we had during our Switzerland trip. We are very pleased to have chosen this hotel for our visit!"

"Stayed one night here, after 2 nights at the nearby Hotel Parnass. Parnass was much less expensive and a better value. Had a much larger room at Banhof, but unlike Parnass there was no free breakfast (Parnass has a large and excellent breakfast buffet). Also, my shower had a slow drain and very quickly was standing in a couple of inches of water while showering. Otherwise, very comfortable and convenient. "This is only the second stay I've had in a hostel and it was a very nice experience. We ended up getting a room with its own bathroom and a view of the Matterhorn out our window. The room wasn't all furnished (e.g., TV) but it had everything one needed and was spacious for a hostel.
