"This hotel is beside the Hotel Tannenhof which is the lobby you go to to check in. Hotel Alpina is the epitome of what you would expect for a swiss hotel stay. I loved everything about it. The room with a balcony, the elevator with its quirks, and the community guest area. Highly recommend taking the Matterhorn Glacier Express to get the most amazing mountain views. October also provided jaw dropping colours. For me this was a dream come true stay."

"I gave the property 4 stars for the age of the property, especially in the room (carpet, decor, etc.), and incrediblye tiny-ness of the bathroom-- it's smaller than RV bathrooms but gets the job done. Otherwise, it'll cost you a considerable amount of money via the Gornergrat Railway (15 USD every time). This adds up quickly if you decide to visit the town (to eat, shop and etc). Additionally, there is no laundry equipment (washing machine / dryer) available to tenants directly."
