Very traditional and well known property in Spezia, historic. We loved the hotel, the staff and the services. The Spa is absolutely beautiful, recently renovated. The indoor pool is one of the very best I have been at.

That’s an awesome, really luxury hotel. Everything - parking, service, restaurant, decor, room cleanliness, location - is top notch!!! The spa is awesome with a large indoor pool from which you can swim to an outdoor pool with various labyrinths, showers and jacuzzis and an outstanding “heat” room with a hamam, a sauna, a Turkish sauna and a snow room!!! When in Stresa this is a must to stay in!

Great Hotel overlooking the lake
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is a beautiful place. The rooms and the hotel were very clean, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We didn't eat dinner at the restaurant there, but the breakfast and the servers were outstanding. The hotel is walking distance to the city center where all the shops and restaurants are. The view of the lake from our room was beautiful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. You can't go wrong.

Excellent location. Lovely views from hotel. 10 minutes flat walking to centre of town for dining. Luca, one of the concierges, was extremely helpful on the day of a train strike in organising alternative transport when I was let down by my booked taxi. Many thanks to Luca.
