"The apartment I was given was clean, well equipped and had an amazing view…not sure if this ‘view’ is guaranteed so I will refrain from saying what the view was but you can guess. Couldn’t fault the accommodation we were placed in. Nice to see the apartment block had a quiet time (10pm till 6am) this was respected when we were there so we had 4 good night sleeps. "

"An extraordinary stop over. Although we read reviews we were not quite prepared for the ascent to the top of a 1700 m mountain ! However it was worth the climb and is not to be missed. A quite hamlet, wonderful for a retreat,walking or just a stop over. The owner was helpful and pleasant, full of information and stories!"

"This is a true Swiss lodge at nearly the top of nowhere. The staff is friendly but it helps to have a little German or French. Be sure you specify exactly what you want in a room..like a shower AND toilet, or you may be sharing. You need to be fit enough to walk up to 4 flights with all your stuff. Our top floor room was lovely with 2 comfy twin beds, multiple windows and even a small sleeping loft (for kids?). "Overall this was exactly what I expected and wanted. A bit basic but then at the price its fantastic value for money. I have no complaints. Its about a 15 minute drive from the Valtounenche lift which gets you up to the entire Cervinia / Zermatt range. The restaurant attached was good and had friendly staff."
