"We liked that we had 2 queen beds and they were in seperate areas. We had 2 tvs too. We had a nice size fridge. The staff was really friendly and let us check in early as the room was ready. We didn't like that it was in an area that's across a plaza and it is noisy right up until 2 am. Other than that it was really comfortable and convenient. Walking distance to all the restsurants and the beach. Would stay again. "

"We we're greeted by a very friendly front desk clerk. The rooms were clean, with fridge and dishwashing sink. No tv's, paper towels or tissues but for the price it's great and fairly quiet (except for the rooster at 3am). "

"The hotel was good. It's old Mexico so you can't have 5 star expectations. The staff was friendly enough. Our room faced the street so it wasn't super quiet but it was neat hearing the sounds of Mexico every morning. The doors were fairly thin as well so you could hear everything anyone was saying outside your room at all times. I would have no problems recommending this hotel. "

"Its a motel with gate that is locked at night. They know my name and always a big welcome. I always get a cooler and get ice from their ice machine. I've stayed here many times and will stay again."

"Was pleased with our stay at Soy Local. Came on a family vacation with older children, and booked 2 rooms. The hotel is in a great location to catch the bus, to go to the convenience store, the big grocery store is not a far walk, and the beach is easy to walk to as well. The hotel was large and tidy, but in bad need of updating. We are not picky travellers, and thought the old historical nature of the hotel was charming and low-key. This is not the place for you if you complain about a broken...

"This is an old building. It looks totally different than the pictures in Expedia. The pool is small, the water pressure is low and sometimes there is just a trickle of hot water. But, it’s a nice, solid hotel and the staff is wonderful."
