They are in the process of adding several shops and restaurants that are not open yet, so dining options are limited to the two main restaurants and poolside bars. From what we could see, they will be opening an ice cream shop, burger joint, and a few other shops. walking distance to the marina. Easy access to private beach.

It is good quality for the value I paid. Hotel is getting some renovations (which were extremely required) and that were much needed (still a lot to improve); however, the personnel is amazing. Most of them are super attentive and kind. Orlando from pool bar is just amazing. Very convenient location next to Marina in which restaurants and stores can be found

Great property but like many say the rooms could use some updating. Our room wasn’t ready until 2 hours until after check in but we were compensated with a free meal at the hotels seafood restaurant. The crowd while we were there leaned older like retired couples 60 so if you are looking for an update party vibe this isn’t it. Resort was very quiet and we had a good experience with getting taxis. Unfortunately there was no one available there to help us book excursions or plan anything like that. The staff took my number for someone to call me but they never did so we went downtown and booked them with someone there. Overall nice stay but the rooms need updating. Paint was pealing and fixtures in shower were falling apart overall good stay.

The first room they put us in, had not been properly cleaned. The rooms are OK but generally speaking the hotel is very tired. The pool and grounds and beach area are quite lovely though. But we found crumbling infrastructure, planters that are empty and garbage and debris them. Definitely not the Westin level we have come to expect still at the price of high end Westin. The spa is lovely though and the grounds are quite nice. We found the staff very friendly. The food was good and I really liked the area that the hotel is located. It is much quieter than the Malecon and Romantic zone but still many bar restaurants in the Marina a 5 minute walk away.

This is an old property and it I showing its age. Boarded up store fronts in the main lobby. The resort is also split in half, with one side being residences and the other hotel. Beach is small, water murky from nearby marina and cruise port. 3 stars at best, not typical Westin quality.
