"We stayed on the 28th December 2024 for our son’s 13th Birthday. We stayed in the Hekla dome, and all we can say is WOW!!!!! The dome is amazing, the view is amazing, the experience was amazing. Our two kids (9 &13) loved the bunk bed and whilst cosy it wasn’t cramped even with four of us. Just few bits that might need attention or improvement are The room didn't have a litter bin, there was one in the toilet but a small one. The toilet door could have been better, as the current door is just a sheet of wood with sliders fixed at top, Perhaps one on slider hinges on the bottom would make it more stable.
