"Excellent hotel in the heart of Reykjavik. Location could not have been better. Probably the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in. Services available were great and the staff were quick and helpful when responding to queries before we arrived. "

"Great hotel. Best location of ALL hotels. Bus stop where most tours pick u up and drop u off is just across the street. And that makes a big difference when it's raining or snowing. Bar at the hotel is great, breakfast is amazing and u will not find a better price anywhere near. Two main tourist streets are 2 blocks away. View of the ocean is like one of a five star hotel. Rooms are a bit small and washroom as well. But hey, its "Europe" "

"A lovely hotel in wild, tranquil surroundings. Food was excellent, albeit a limited choice. For a holiday hotel, breakfast finishing at 10.00. was annoying, especially on weekends. Bed and room were small but comfortable and had most everything you needed, except tissues. On the downside, the lighting throughout the hotel is dreadful, especially the restaurant, but there is absolutely nowhere where you can sit and read, even in the bedrooms.. Similarly, for a hotel like this not to have a fireplace of any sort to sit by was also a great shame."
