"Super easy check-in! Just a code for key access and you’re in! It’s a smart house, so things like Alexa control the lights and hot tub! If you get the right night, even the pictures of the northern lights in the listing didn’t fail us. We saw them from the hot tub on our last night. "Our 2 families--2 couples and 5 kids ages 7-11 stayed for 3 nights at this wonderful house. Herdis met us upon arrival and walked us through the house explaining everything. I imagine it's hard to find another house with as much space and as well-stocked, this home is live-in ready from hundreds of towels, double washers and dryers, to every amenity. "The house was perfect for our family of 4. The hot tub was amazing to watch the northern lights even in winter and the sauna was an added bonus. The location is great for seeing lots of great sights on the golden circle. We rented a car and toured the southern coast as well as Reykjavík. Listing is as described. The owner sends a full guide to the home and the area which is so helpful. He even gives his cell number for urgent matters. Highly recommend!"

"This house was great for three couples. Three bedrooms. One big full bathroom with another bathroom with a toilet, which was perfect to have. Kitchen was equipped plus the outdoor grill. There were a few spices so when we cooked we didn’t have to purchase. The hot tub is excellent way to end the night. As far as location, we loved the private space being outside of town. There looked like there was a vegetable stand around the corner but we didn’t end up needing to stop. We did two day trips...
