"No words can describe the beauty and peacefulness of this property. The grounds are spectacular and our room was gorgeous overlooking the ocean and sunsets. Upon our arrival we were greeted with refreshing beverages and brought to our room where we saw Toucans and Parrots . In our two day visit we saw monkeys and frogs and lots of butterflies! "Stay was amazing. The views do NOT get any better than this. It’s not the most modern but it’s better than some 5 star places I’ve stayed. And I travel a lot. Highly recommend and definitely get a 4x4. "

"There were gadens along the pathto the rooms where you can observe the birds. We even had a Quetzal one morning in the property Breakfast was nice and the staff were friendly. However, the receptionist could not speak very good english and we struggled to communicate with him"

It's a small boutique hotel on top of a mountain: the view is STUNNING, we saw more animals during breakfast than in parks we had visited previously. George is incredible: he did a tour with us each morning to show us where the slot was hiding, where the frogs were... He is very friendly, helpful but also respects your privacy. "Amazing view from every individual lodge. This is an amazing property with a large natural areas with hiking trails. The trail levels would be moderate and difficulty, but it is really nice to be with trees and natures. Excellent services, staff are warm, friendly and helpful. Excellent dinner menu with very reasonable prices. Humming bird feeder brought nice visitors. The bird and nature guide (Carlos) booked through the lodge was excellent. We saw quetzal birds twice!!! "

"Superb property up on the Uvita mountains. As long as you have a 4x4, getting there is a fun ride. Staff was great and the spa facilities are really nice. The only thing keeping me from returning for a whole remote work week is the internet speed. It was spotty and not reliable for a prolonged work stay."
