The host Robery Hennesy is an artistic home builder and designer that finds unique lots and builds custom homes for potential buyers. This land was purchased without the knowledge of these beautiful rocks. The seller didn't know about them and Robert discovered them 2 weeks after the purchase. The original plan was to build a two-story house with an elevator next door, but when the four rocks presented themselves they became the focus of the home.
Elders in the neighborhood say a mammoth lived here and this inspirational home is soon to be featured on National Geographic show "Most Unique Homes".
It certainly is unique and we like to think of it as the eighth wonder of the world.
Please note that this is Costa Rica. There can be some bugs that sometimes come into the house but keeping the screens closed will help tremendously. Power outages and internet outages also happen and they are beyond our control. They are not frequent, yet they do happen. We do have wifi but the service isn't fast and can be slow at times. You can also expect to see some wildlife nearby like birds and animals. As we are in the jungle we recommend a 4x4 and expect to cross a few bridges and a small stream. This is all part of life in Costa Rica and we hope you enjoy this lively nature's paradise.
