"Our family of 6 stayed at Madre Salva for 6 days during April vacation. To say that the experience was magnificent is an understatement. It is unreal. The house itself is thoughtfully designed and an ideal fit for our family. The communication and attentive service from Carolina and Rume were excellent. It was remote enough to feel "off the grid" but surrounded by activities and everything that you could need. We did plenty of walking, waterfall hiking, white-water rafting, and relaxing. "Thank you Del and Adrian for an amazing visit! This is our fifth time in Costa Rica, and fourth time in the Uvita/Dominical area! The house was clean, spacious and well equipped for cooking. The view was exceptional, the grounds well kept, and the pool was the perfect temp!! Definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing time in Costa Rica!FYI, absolutely nothing against this gorgeous property…but there is no AC, only naturally accruing cooler temperatures at night. There are however multiple ceiling fans inside and out, as well as standing fans in the bedrooms! "

" We stayed at Casa Oropéndola at Canavida Resort from March 31st to April 4th, and it was nothing short of magical. The property is absolutely stunning—tucked into the lush hills of Uvita with breathtaking ocean views and surrounded by nature. Waking up to the sound of howler monkeys and tropical birds, then taking a dip in our own private pool while watching the sunrise—unreal. The 2-bedroom home is beautifully designed, with a perfect balance of modern comfort and eco-luxury. Everything was spotless and well-equipped, especially the kitchen, which made it easy to enjoy meals at home. We spent most of our time outside on the patio or in the pool, soaking in the peaceful vibes. The location couldn’t be better. It’s close to the beaches, waterfalls, and the national park, but still feels totally secluded and serene. The drive up is part of the adventure (definitely recommend a 4x4), and the views are 100% worth it. The hosts were fantastic—super responsive and thoughtful, making sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. We left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and already planning our return.
