"This lodge is a hidden gem. The food at the restaurant was a little hit and miss, but everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming. Greivin went out of his way to help in any way he could and he also leads the excellent Quetzal tours every morning!! Great stay!!"

"You can easily walk to some local trails and other hotel restaurants. This hotel was a gem! We loved our room, the walls are a little thin but we only shared with one neighbor. Beds were very comfy and had lots of pillows and wall plugs. Staff were pretty friendly, our only “poor” interaction was when we showed up at 8:30 am after a morning hike and were told the breakfast ends at 9 am and made a little fuss over us arriving at 8:30. The temperature outside was nice and cool, but the room does not have good circulation. No blackout curtains, so you wake up early, if you want to or not."
