"This is the second time I've stayed at this little family run hotel. It was lovely that they remembered me. I arrived before check in, but there was no problem leaving my case and rucksack there while I explored the castle area of Cardiff. When I returned, several hours later, my luggage had already been taken up to my room. What this hotel lacks in mod cons, it more than mskes up for in convenience, caring, friendliness abd value for money. There is no lift, which can be a big problem for the...

"Room was clean and comfortable. Welcome was excellent. Only negative was advertised as free parking and when I got there was told I had to pay £5 parking. 'It's new, they've just brought it in'. So was disappointed with that. Should have challenged it but was too tired, so just paid. Still being advertised as free!"

"Well placed in the centre of town, this is a popular venue for locals and visitors it seems, with tables outside as well as in. The parking is tight, and the receptionist lovely and helpful when we checked in. We would stay here again."
