"Room was a bit smaller than I expected, but that might have been my mistake in booking the wrong type. Very convenient location (right next to Gojo Station Exit 8). All the staff were are very nice and helpful. Coin laundry is on same floor as the reception so it was a little awkward to have to walk past the front desk each time. There is also only elevator so it's a bit inconvenient to use. But overall, it was a pretty nice hotel."

Massage chairs, indoor/outdoor onsen, sauna, food for breakfast and late night, soda, coffee, soup, alcoholic drinks, chargers in capsules, different types of shampoos and conditioners, hair products, hair dryer, curling iron, and all other bath amenities anyone would need. Everyone was really quiet and respectful to others. "

"I’ve been to many capsules across Japan and my stay here was at the too. Yes, I’ve stayed in Kyoto, Osaka, but wanted to spend a few days in Ōtsu and experience a slower pace and so glad I did! The reviews on Google and Orbitz rated The Calendar high so I gave it a try and I was not disappointed. However, I do need to mention if you are sensitive to smell you might notice the slight scent of smoke. The entire capsule is non-smoking, however there is a smoking room, that when smokers return it...
