"a great find! Despite the roadworks this hotel was quiet and very conveniently located for the new theatre. We even managed two different circular walks along the canals and rivers in different directions from the hotel. Parking was included as well as a great breakfast. would definately stay again!"

The check in was straight forward and you're given a printed sheet to put in the front of the car to cover parking in the pay & display at the rear of the building. The room was small but comfortable and clean and nicely decorated. There were fresh towels and plenty of tea & coffee. "Costa, the manager, was excellent. The hotel is very cozy. There is no elevator…so good health is required for 3rd floor rooms. Great location for the University. Reasonably walkable."

"I had a wonderful stay at the Mad Hatter! It was a convenient walk to shops, the Christ Church Meadow, restaurants, etc. The eccentric decorations on the property were adorable. "Have stayed at the fox a few times over the years it in a great position at junction 5 of the M40 The room i stayed in had been refufurbished and restaurant had recently been refurshished I would recommend the hotel maybe as a stop before getting into London "
